Legend Of Tharmia-The Greatest Story Ever Told(If you don't count every story ever told that's greater than this one)!!!
In the year 2222, the planet of Earth was destroyed by the ultimate dark evil lord of evil darkness, Billie Joe Armstrong.
Luckily, before his dark, evil destruction could reach any other planets, he was destroyed by Geddy Lee. Geddy Lee managed
to save a few humans from the dark, evil destrucion. He also saved some rabbits. He then created a new world to replace earth...
Tharmia.
In time, the rabbits evolved into a human-like race called Peppies. As well, the humans evolved into three races-Humans,
Elves, and Dragons. These four races lived in harmony. However, all was not well. Before his demise, Billie Joe Armstrong
left a prophecy fortelling his return.
"Once every hundred-thousand years or so,
When the sun doth shine and the moon doth glow
And the grass doth grow..."
The rest is unknown...
From the remains of Billie Joe Armstrong a race of pure evil was formed. These creatures, called Demons, strove to destroy
Tharmia and uphold their dark evil lord of dark evil's prophecy. To keep them in balance, Geddy Lee sacrificed himself to
create a race of pure goodness-The Seraphim. The Seraphim stood watch over Tharmia and fought the Demons.
The two races constantly struggled, with Tharmia as their battleground. Their strengths were even, but the Tharmians suffered
because of their fighting.
Finally, the Demons tried a desperate move. Using up lots of their dark powers, they summoned...
A Giant Enemy Crab. The horrid beast wreaked havoc, until a mysterious hero appeared out of nowhere and attacked it's
weak point for massive damage. The beast collapsed, and an entrance to the lair of the Demons was revealed. The hero destroyed
the Demon King, and sealed the rest of the Demons in his lair, forever. Peace was restored. Satisfied, the Seraphim left Tharmia.
One thousand years later, the seal is starting to weaken...
The new comedy game coming soon features a unique and...lovableish cast of characters, a deep and complex class system, lots
of hidden special features and mini-games, realistic systems like banks and different currency for different continents, lots
of DBS editing for a unique skill learning experience, and the most important thing for any comedy game-lots and lots of humour!
I like to think Legend of Tharmia as a unique game in the way that it manages to parody RPGs and cliches without ever breaking
the fourth wall! I don't want to spoil anything for you, but you should enjoy it. Also expect lots of music, TV, and video
game references, old jokes that stopped being funny but where written around the time they still were funny and are now too
integral to the plot to remove (cough giant enemy crab)! Screenshots will be up soon, I just don't feel like taking any right
now.
